Best Practices & Preventive Tips
- Operate and store the meter between 15°C–32°C and <85% humidity (no condensation).
- Always use CoaguChek test strips specific to the device model and the matching code chip for that strip box.
- Apply blood within 15 seconds of fingerstick and complete dosing within the meter’s 180-second window.
- Keep the test strip guide and meter clean; use only recommended disinfectants (70% isopropyl alcohol) and allow drying for at least 10 minutes before testing.
- Replace batteries promptly and verify meter date/time after battery changes (if batteries were removed >1 minute).
